Our Small NutriGrubs (Black Soldier Fly Larvae) are significantly smaller than our Medium CalciGrubs, making them an ideal daily food source for tiny reptiles, baby reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, fish, and birds. These grubs can be kept at room temperature or cooled to extend their shelf life. Using a wine cooler, standard cooler, or placing them near an air vent is recommended. Avoid regular refrigerators as temperatures below 55°F may harm them.
Helpful Hint: If some grubs start turning black, they are nearing the pupation stage. Let them transform into flies for a fun and engaging treat for your pet. These slow-moving flies are easy prey, offering great enrichment. Even if your pet isn’t fond of grubs, they might enjoy the flies!
