Zoo Med Digital Thermometer
Reptiles require specific temperature ranges to thrive, and these needs vary widely between species. For instance, a temperature ideal for a bearded dragon might be harmful to a crested gecko. Therefore, using a reliable thermometer to track the heat levels in your reptile's habitat is essential.
The Zoo Med Digital Thermometer features a single temperature sensor and a clear digital screen for easy monitoring of heat levels in specific zones of your terrarium. The probe is fully waterproof, making it suitable for underwater use to check water temperatures. It can measure a range from -10°F to 140°F.
Comes with a battery included.
How to Use:
Position the temperature sensor in the basking spot, right under the heat source, for the most precise measurements. Secure the digital display in a dry area outside the enclosure. Adjust the Fahrenheit/Celsius toggle to your preferred unit. Press the power (pwr) button to activate, and hold it for 5 seconds to shut off.
For optimal monitoring, consider using two Zoo Med Digital Thermometers, placing one at each end of the terrarium to track the temperature gradient effectively.
