It’s an ideal choice for species such as bearded dragons, blue tongue skinks, and tegus, and can serve as a special treat for strict herbivores like tortoises and iguanas.
Preparation Guidelines:
Combine one part powder with three parts water, stirring until fully mixed. Heat in a microwave until boiling, then stir again. Alternatively, boil water on the stove, remove from heat, and mix in the powder. Allow the mixture to cool in the container, or transfer it immediately to a mold or storage container and let it set at room temperature until solid. Adjust the gel’s texture by varying the water ratio during preparation. Cut the set gel into cubes, shred it, or use it as a single piece.
Unused portions should be handled like perishable food. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 14 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
