Repashy Soilent Green, 6 oz, is a specialized meal replacement gel designed for aufwuchs-feeding fish and invertebrates. The term "aufwuchs" comes from German, meaning "surface growth," and describes the mix of algae and tiny organisms that develop on aquatic surfaces.
How to Prepare:
Combine one part powder with three parts water, stirring until fully mixed. Heat in a microwave until boiling, then stir again. Alternatively, boil water on the stove, take it off the heat, and mix in the powder. Allow the mixture to cool in the container, or transfer it immediately to a mold or storage container, letting it set at room temperature until solid. Adjust the gel's texture by varying the water amount during preparation. Cut the finished gel into cubes, shred it, or use it as a single piece.
Unused portions should be handled like perishable food. Store it sealed in the refrigerator for up to 14 days or in the freezer for up to six months.
