Hornworm Dry Diet (2oz): This specialized food mix expands to about 5 times its original weight after cooking. A single dry packet, weighing 2oz, transforms into roughly 0.67lbs of prepared food, equivalent to about 1/8lb dry.

Steps to Prepare Hornworm Food:

1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil on the stovetop.
2. When the water reaches a full boil, gradually pour in the dry food mix while blending with an electric hand mixer.
3. Stir the mixture over heat until the powder is fully incorporated and smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
4. Remove from heat and keep blending with the hand mixer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
5. Transfer the mixture into a container of your choice and allow it to set at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
6. Once solidified, the hornworm food is ready for use. Introduce eggs or feed to your worms as needed.
