Usage Instructions

Use the Exo Terra Cricket Pen as a carrier or storage container. Slide a tube out, lower the flapper to block escapes, and if necessary, cover the tube’s opening during transport to the terrarium. Tap lightly to release the desired number of crickets. Avoid removing multiple tubes at once to prevent escapes.

Caring for Crickets

Maintain crickets in a ventilated space at 21-23 °C (70-75 °F) with low humidity. Avoid direct sunlight and drafts, and keep the pen clean and dry. Provide high-quality cricket food and water gel in the included shallow dishes. If gel isn’t available, use a damp sponge, but avoid plain water to prevent drowning.

How to Clean

Regular cleaning is essential. Clear out debris and waste, then rinse the entire pen with hot water. Avoid soaps or detergents, as residues can be harmful or fatal to crickets.
