With growing demand from the USA and Canada, we recognized the need to adapt our top-selling SBMVL for 110V compatibility. Through this process, we discovered that the traditional method of converting lamps from 240V to 110V was the root cause of persistent challenges faced by keepers using combination lamps in these regions.

The basking zone should represent the highest UVI level in your reptile's habitat. Given its potent UVB output, this lamp is ideal for species requiring significant UVB exposure, including bearded dragons, uromastyx, blue tongue skinks, savannah monitors, tortoises, and freshwater turtles.

Usage Guidelines:
Compatible with standard reptile domes, ensure the lamp is positioned at least 10" from your reptile. For optimal effect, install it on either the far left or right side of the enclosure to establish a functional light gradient. In terrestrial setups, the UVB bulb should span roughly half the length of the enclosure.
Note that placing the lamp over a mesh top decreases UVB output and range by about 30%.
To ensure consistent performance, replace this bulb annually.
We highly recommend using a Solarmeter 6.5 to accurately gauge the bulb’s output at the specific distance between the lamp and your reptile. This helps maintain optimal UVB exposure and prevents under- or over-exposure.
